Photo Gallery
I added a photo gallery to the site. Just click on Photo Gallery on the left (you will need to login to see that) and it will open a new window. You can add albums of your own and then add pictures to the albums. By default anyone can see the albums, however you can secure the albums so that only you your login id can see them.
Anyone can see the public pictures by going to http://www.tinnel.us/coppermine. So you can send that address via email. In order to view your private pictures you will need to log on to tinnel.us first.
Investigating a problem
Trying to see what Drupal uses for a timestamp of nodes. The time you clicked on Create Content, or the time when you finally submitted it.

Site upgrade
You shouldn't notice any difference, but I upgraded the site to Drupal 5.7. The upgrade was pretty simple and will make the site a bit more secure.

Back at home
Got back from Texas in time to see a nice snowstorm. Expecting more in the near future. I had three teams I was cheering for last weekend, Patriots, Cowboys, and Colts. All three were expected to easily win. Wouldn't you know it, 2 big upsets. Oh well, the home team is still going strong.

Holiday greetings
Happy holidays to anyone coming here. Lynette and I spent Thanksgiving with my mom and brother in Indiana. We're going to spend Christmas with Lynette's family. We are missing out on some snow :-), but I think we will get over it.

Graduating
Well I finally made it. The graduation is tomorrow. I'm glad it is over, most of the coursework wasn't that bad, but the team assignments were stressful because it seemed that most of the other students were only looking for a passing grade, not an A.

Time flies
Where does the time go. Only 2 more classes to go. I will be done on Jun 30, can't wait. Trying to decide if I should buy land in Second Life. I have been playing with building things, so it would be nice to have a place to experiment more. But I'm not sure it isn't just throwing money away, although it probably would only be 50 to 75 dollars.

College
In case you didn't know, I (Brian) am taking some online college classes to get a degree in software engineering. I thought that as long as I was doing the work, I should at least have a degree. The past few weeks have been really hectic in my current set of classes. I take two classes at a time and there are projects due twice a week, so I have four assignments due each week. At times it is hard to keep up, but if all goes well I will complete the program in June and get my degree. I'll keep you informed.

Science/Tech
I added the Science/Tech area to the left a couple of days ago. It shows recent articles from Slashdot.org and NewScientist.com. Those are two sites I go to a lot to see what is going on in the science and technology world.
